How iPhone Insiders Save Money on Wireless Charges
There are lots of ways that you can save money with your iPhone if you know how, I’ll share a few with you here.
Save money by listening to your own radio station, with your favorite music, for free:
It surprises me how many people don’t know about this one because it’s so great.
Download the application “Pandora Radio” from the App Store.
This app lets you pick either a pre-setup genre to listen to, or if you want something a little more specific go to “New Station” (at the bottom of the screen).
From this screen you can create a “station” based around similar songs to an artist, song, or composer you like. You can then skip songs you don’t like and rate them thumbs up or down.
The catch is the individual songs are not saved permanently to your iPhone, instead it remembers the songs you do and don’t like and plays those you like more often.
This has saved me from downloading a bunch of those songs I’d like to hear but don’t listen to all the time, but I still download my favorite songs so I can hear those whenever I want.
How to turn any song you have into a ringtone:
This is one that a lot of people don’t realize you can do. Your iPhone can play a song on speaker so why can’t it just play what you already paid for when someone calls you?
Because it can.
You just have to know how – and if you do it right it’s a lot easier than a lot of iPhone gurus make it out to be – no extra software or special knowledge required, I actually taught my Grand mom this recently.
This is an example where it is a lot easier to show you in a step by step video format – you can view this one for free, just make sure you put your name and email in the “Free iPhone Tips and Tutorials Membership Access” and click get free tips and tutorials and the video will be sent to you email right away.
Text for FREE
Did you know that there is a powerful app Google made for the iPhone called Google Voice that gave users the ability to do some crazy things like have one phone number ring multiple phones, listen in and answer when someone is leaving you a voicemail – and TEXT FOR FREE, leaving people without a reason to pay for a texting package.
Unfortunately Apple banned this application from the app store just days after it appeared.
Fortunately Google left a way to use all these great features through what is called a web application.
I’ll step you through how to set it up and use it correctly – this is one you’ll have to go to iPhone Power User video tutorial to see.
